The 40 match between Bangalore Royal Challengers vs Deccan Chargers Live Streaming will be played on 08 April 2010 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.
Pitch Expectation:Bangalore pitch is going to help batsman at the start however would get slow and low as the innings progresses. Team that wins toss is definitely going to bat first.
Stats
DC: Defending Champions would not able to even think of defending their crown if they lost this one. Have to win all their matches from here. With KKR, CSK and RR back in form and they all fighting for the semi final place, it would be tough for them to qualify but they still have a chance unlike the KXIP who are out of the tournament. If they win here then BRC chances to make for the semis will also become difficult. One win could change their fortunes. Gilly would be wishing to happen it in this match.
BRC: Are struggling to keep their good form which they had in the initial stage of the tournament. A loss here would make life tougher for them as now there are 5 contenders for the 3 semi-final slots (MI is already in). CSK, DD, KKR, RR are fighting hard for the place along with BRC and if DC wins here then number will add up to 6. Though the win would not ensure a place in semis but would def made them the strong contender. Too many hard hitters still losing match is something you don’t expect from a strong team like BRC.
Last 5 Winning/ Losing streak
Royal Challengers Bangalore: LWLLW
Deccan Chargers: LLLLL
Players to watch out for
Ross Taylor: BRC lost the last match against the DD just because they wanted to play Ross Taylor for the team, and they made blind changes and which changed the winning combination. Ross would be looking to change this feeling among the experts and fans. Had hit 2 huge sixes against the DD in previous match and if he stays at wicket, then you could expect more than 2 sixes every time.
Rahul Dravid: Has been in and out kind of player when it comes to his batting position. Its an utter disrespect to the legend like him to come to bat after Kohli and co. Should be promoted to no.3 and let him play freely, otherwise just give him the rest. Does Kumble too feel the same thing? It would be quite clear on Thursday night.
Rohit Sharma: He played an astonishing inning against the RR, just lost the match at the very last moment. His style of batting is quite typical of Indian batsmen, class and elegant. Risk free shot and no slogging. He might be the only youngster apart from Raina who has all the proper cricketing shots and probably the only youngster who score runs with those cricketing shots.
Adam Gilchrist: Its now or never for him. If he fails here and so as his team, then it will be bye bye for the Chargers. Lost the close match against the RR but would still hoping to remain in the contenders of the semis. Under pressure, Gilly is one of the best player to come out to play his best. The last chance for Gilly and co.
